Eddy Zheng is facing deportation for criminal convictions from 20 years ago. He served 19+ years of a 7-to-life sentence for a robbery he committed at 16. After spending 2 years in immigration detention fighting his case, he lost. He awaits the execution of the deportation order. Dear Eddy, my brother,
Have you gotten any real medical attention yet for your ear? I hope so. You are strong, and so many of us love and stand with you, even all the way out here in Iowa. The accumulation of visits cut too short and other arbitrary rules is enough to tax the strength and spirit of anyone. Keep writing and keep doing whatever you need to do to take care of yourself.
